The thing nobody tells you

Most business advice starts with what you sell. The class, the session, the package, the retreat. Then it works backward.

That's the wrong end of the rope.

You are the product.

Not your certification. Not the sixty-minute session on your booking page. Not the course you've been meaning to finish. Those are containers. What people are actually choosing is you—your particular history, your particular way of seeing, the specific quality of attention you bring into a room that nobody else brings.

I know how that phrase can land. Product sounds like commerce, and you didn't come to this work to become merchandise. Stay with me.

Calling yourself the product isn't a reduction. It's the opposite. It means the thing of value isn't something you manufacture and hand over. It's who you've become. Everything else—your pricing, your website, your offers, your marketing—is just the mechanism that lets somebody reach it.

Most people build the mechanism first and hope a self shows up inside it. That's why someone else's proven strategy feels like wearing another person's coat. It fits them. It was cut for them.

We work the other way around. We start with what's true about you, and we build outward from there until the structure and the person are the same shape.

The wind and the windmill

A windmill is a beautiful machine. Without wind, it's a structure standing in a field.

The wind is purpose—your sankalpa, the invisible force underneath everything you do. The sails are the mechanics: how you show up online, what you say, what you're offering, who already knows you, and what you repeat until it compounds.

Business without wind is just machinery. Wind without a windmill never reaches anyone.

Mentorship builds both.

I believe business is a spiritual practice. Not separate from your purpose—an expression of it.

My approach doesn't ask you to choose between depth and income, between authenticity and strategy, between serving your people well and building financial security. You can have both. That's the entire point.

A bit about me

I've spent twenty-five years in meditation and yoga practice, including direct experiences of awakening that inform everything I teach. I built a six-figure business from scratch—no investors, no outside funding—while living abroad with my family, teaching on six continents, and publishing multiple books.

It hasn't been easy sailing the whole way. I've opened and closed yoga studios. I've navigated debt. I've rebuilt from near-zero revenue years. I came out the other side magna cum laude from the School of Hard Knocks, with real clarity about what works and what doesn't.

I've mentored dozens of conscious entrepreneurs: yoga and meditation teachers, therapists, energy workers, coaches, ministers, artists, authors, fractional CFOs, landscape architects. What they have in common isn't an industry. It's that there's a singular person at the center of the business, and the business wasn't yet built to reflect that person.
