Sound Bath

Saturday, October 3 | 7:00–8:00 PM | $35

Come rest inside the music.

Join us at Sunflower Yoga Studio for a deeply restorative evening of live cello, crystal singing bowls and other instruments, meditation, and sound designed to invite the body toward rest and the mind toward stillness.

We’ll begin with a short grounding meditation, offering a few quiet moments to arrive in your body, connect with your breath, and settle into the space. From there, cellist Billy Mickelson of Third Seven will guide us into an immersive landscape of live cello, accompanied by Scott Moore on crystal singing bowls and other instruments.

Unlike simply listening to music, a sound bath invites you to experience sound with your whole body. The rich resonance of the cello and gentle vibrations of the singing bowls move through the room—and through you—creating a layered soundscape where there is nothing you need to do, achieve, or figure out.

Simply lie back. Listen. Feel. Wear comfortable clothing and bring anything that will help you rest comfortably. Yoga mats, blankets, bolsters, and other props are also available at the studio.

Space is limited. Advance registration is encouraged.

$35 per person

Restore Yoga + Yoga Nidra

with Scott Moore & live music by Billy Mickelson

restore yoga salt lake city

Sunday, Oct. 4 12–2 pm MT
Mosaic Yoga — 1991 S. 1100 E., Salt Lake City, Utah
In person
By donation (suggested $35–50)

This monthly Restore Yoga + Yoga Nidra workshop is a deeply restful, therapeutic experience designed to support your nervous system and invite genuine restoration.

We’ll move slowly into supported, resting postures using yoga props (provided if you don’t have your own). Minimal words are used, allowing the body and mind to settle naturally into a spacious, open state.

The practice is woven with poetry, live music, and a long, decadent Yoga Nidra, offering a rare opportunity to step out of time and reconnect with a sense of ease, presence, and inner quiet.

Live music by Billy Mickelson adds a unique and immersive dimension to the experience. Billy is a masterful cellist and one-man orchestra, using live looping and soundscapes to gently shape and support the energy of the room, creating an atmosphere that is both grounding and expansive.

This workshop is appropriate for all levels and is especially supportive if you’re feeling tired, overwhelmed, stressed, or simply in need of deep rest.

Come as you are.

Leave feeling more settled, restored, and at home in yourself.
