This week, I’m at THE MOST CHARMING villa in Tuscany co-hosting a retreat with my good friend and fellow teacher Kim Dastrup. We hosted a yoga retreat in Italy in this same location in 2019 (before the world shut down) and I gotta say, this villa is even more amazing than I remember. The area is nicer, staff friendlier, food tastier than I remember.

Now, I’m not trying to rub it in. I’m not trying to make you feel jealous that you’re not here.

No, I’m here to remind (or inform) you that there’s a spot waiting for you and your bestie in the retreat that I’ll be hosting Oct. 8–15, 2022 at this exact location.

But wait! Before you call your favorite friend and register for this amazing retreat, before you book your flight (cheaper now that summer’s over), before you start practicing your Italian, I need to level with you. In all fairness, I must warn you that there’s a slight chance that this retreat may not be quite suited for you.

I cannot be held responsible if you register for this Tuscany Yoga retreat
without first reading the following:

  • If you don’t appreciate carefully curated, daily all-levels yoga classes— including asana, meditation, breathwork, and my favorite, Yoga Nidra— in our dedicated yoga space … then maybe this retreat isn’t for you.

  • If you don’t like mouthwatering, home-cooked Italian meals (fresh home-made pasta, grilled and baked veggies, fresh garden salads, bread, sometimes fish and meat, served alongside a delicious house wines) cooked with passion, skill, and love by our private chef … then maybe this retreat isn’t for you.

  • If you don’t like to sit outside while drinking your morning cappuccino, looking at the morning mist roll over the hills as the sun filters through the clouds bursting into a resplendent panorama that will have you running for your camera … then maybe this retreat isn’t for you.

  • If you’d prefer not to stay in a beautifully and tastefully restored 800-year-old villa (with an incredible history), complete with comfortable rooms and beds (private bathrooms) dining room, yoga room, many terraces, wine cellar, 2 gyms with exercise equipment, cultivated gardens, lavender fields, outdoor pizza oven, pool, hammock and covered outdoor dining area … then maybe this retreat isn’t for you.

  • If you don’t care for scheduled down time for lounging by the pool reading a great book, getting a massage by our resident massage therapist, walking through lavender fields, hiking rustic backroads, trail running, horseback riding, or taking a siesta … then maybe this retreat isn’t for you.

  • If you prefer not to peer out on unspoiled rolling hills and forests of the Tuscan countryside, dotted only with the occasional other villa, or occasional hilltop castle … then maybe this retreat isn’t for you.

  • If you don’t like looking up into the dark night sky and seeing millions of stars, undimmed by city lights … then maybe this retreat isn’t for you.

  • If you don’t enjoy wine tastings of world-class local wines with world-class local, friendly, and knowledgeable sommeliers … then maybe this retreat isn’t for you.

  • If you don’t like excursions, either to the beach or to other historically Tuscan cities like Siena … then maybe this retreat isn’t for you.

  • If you don’t like making friends for a lifetime with a week of connection, laughing, and spirit … then maybe this retreat isn’t for you.

  • If you don’t like to be in Tuscany when the weather is perfect and the crowds are fewer and airfare is less expensive … then maybe this retreat isn’t for you.

  • If you’re not interested in returning back home after a week or so in Italy feeling rejuvenated, relaxed, invigorated, and alive … then maybe this retreat isn’t for you.

So now that you’re warned about all the ways that this retreat may NOT be right for you, you’re free to make an informed decision.

No pressure.

It’s in a month, though.

Sadly, spots are limited.
